The University of Calgary’s Indigenous Strategy (ii’ taa’poh’to’p) will feature Tanya Talaga at its first Indigenous Knowledge Public Lecture Series of 2020. Talaga is an award-winning, best-selling author and veteran journalist who currently writes a column for the Toronto Star on subjects relating to the Indigenous experience in Canada. PhotoED Magazine is presenting a unique event during Exposure Photography Festival. Using the Pecha Kucha 20 x 20 format, 10 speakers will run through 20 photography-based slides telling a story divided up into 20 seconds per slide.
