The Beltline Neighbourhoods Association is celebrating the third year of the Beltline Urban Mural Project (BUMP) with four days of tours, talks, music and film. Leading up to the celebrations, 15 new murals will be painted throughout August by local, national and international artists. Honens Festival

Experience world-class musicianship as the Honens Festival returns to celebrate the best in piano and chamber music. The festival will feature performances at a variety of venues by some of the world's best classical musicians, including 2018 Honens prize laureate Nicolas Namoradze. The festival concludes with "Open Air," a free to attend outdoor concert featuring piano, accordion and a string quartet in Central Memorial Park.

East Side Studio Crawl

Calgary's East Side Studio Crawl turns sweet 16 this year. More than 50 artists at six different venues will open their doors to share their work with the public. All studios are located in Ramsay and Inglewood, and include: Artpoint, Burns Visual Arts Society, Heritage Weavers, Jeff de Boer, Nvrlnd and Workshop Studios.

GlobalFest Human Rights Forum

GlobalFest and the United Nations Association of Canada-Calgary Branch's annual Human Rights Forum returns this year with the theme of "Breaking the Cycle of Hate."
